Burnt out by memories
dwelling to embrace the truth
will this empty vial ever be full
as the substance keeps dripping from the cracks
and this empty vial will forever be
hollowed like the absence of lights
beyond all these blinding sights
and i have yet to see it all right
destined to lose all the fights
this weary distance between us
was always feeling the same
i'm gazing back to the past
there's no depth to feel so attached
i take my chance if i could turn back time
mending broken things, fixing everything
it will never be the same

bearing the same traits
i guess this is fate
setting my own course
so that i could change
no matter how hard
i'm wishing for the rain
to strip down the sins
and wash it all away
i have learnt to let go
the loss, the heart, the pain buried in time

Bruised and torn
Eyes began to shut
the soul leaves the resting body
the wretched slums
the broken will
tearing up the walls
ingrained into these tiny veins
And here i sit, watching all these with terrible fate
I held my dearest too close, almost suffocated
and wished it all, wished it all to end
the worst of scums pleasing their vile and rotten heart
how could they live like this
how could we face the future if judgement day is here and now
dear lord can you hear the screaming,
tormenting and sheer anguish..
all we had were thoughts and prayers
and time will pass, we'll be forgotten
this agonizing pain, terrorizing me
in deepest slumber, in darkest sleep, i am wide awake
